"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God." John 1:1

When I was in the Gym today, I was listening to a sermon by Andrew Shearman on the 42^nd Generation.   This sermon explains how the church is the body of Christ and actually is Christ on earth right now. 

Andrew went into the story of the Garden of Eden and something struck me right across the face. When the devil came and tempted Eve while Adam was sleeping; attack on mankind was happening. Adam was sleeping, that should give us men a huge kick in the pants, but eventually Eve told Adam what had happened and they went to find answers at the tree of knowledge of good and evil. In the midst of chaos and lies, they ran to the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

I believe that the trees are metaphorically real today. We go through things in life that we just can't comprehend and understand. I know with personal experience that I have run to find the answers. I have demanded that God tell me what is going on. I have wanted to be like God and understand what is going on.

Erin and I have gone through tough times but we are resting together in unity. I feel as though the devil wants a generation to fall out of the rest of what the Father is doing and run to the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. I feel as though we have been trained by the world to know what is going on and to comprehend everything, theology, mysteries etc. I believe God is saying, rest in Him and allow the tree of life to flood you with His goodness.

There is a generation out there amongst the multi-generations of Christ that will walk in the fullness. I have no idea what that means yet but I am starting to understand resting in the Father and allowing Him to direct my steps.

I ask you to run to the tree of life today and when you get it, give it away to someone that needs it.  The answers are all at the tree of life, not the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

These are questions that have been rolling over and over in my mind. I have asked God over and over again what He is doing. I have started a debt/mortgage reduction business that I fully believe in, yet He hasn't broken it open. I have waited on Him and screamed out to Him for the answers. I have truly been David ever since I have been back from The World Race.

What I laugh about most; is that every circumstance in our lives is answered prayer. I have cried out to become more like Jesus, I have screamed for David's heart, I have asked for it all and now it comes. 

Why do I pray the prayers that I do knowing that it will bring fire?   Some days I have no clue why, I just know that it is in my heart. Some believe that we are in the end times; some have said Jesus will come back in 5-50 years, some hundreds of years. Yes I do yearn for His return but I also want to rest in the moment of now.

The prayers that I have prayed require me to go through the fire. What will I do with billions of dollars if entrusted to me right now if I don't know what it means to have nothing? What will I do if I become a preacher across the United States/world if I don't understand humility, will pride take over? What will I do if I actually get what I pray? 

I believe God grants us our prayers and we resent Him for it. I believe that we get everything we ever wanted yet we feel like it is a curse or that we did something wrong. Being refined in the fire tells who a person really is. Character is not defined when you are on top of the mountain, it is defined when you are in the valley.

As Erin and I continually go through a refining season, we humbly ask that you think of us. I have prayed big prayers and have warred in the heavenlies and need the assistance of prayer. My family will always go for everything in Jesus and will never settle for a mediocre life. We were created for so much more and will fight to the end for freedom. If it is on your heart to lift us up prayerfully or financially this Holiday season we greatly appreciate your support.

Erin and I are so blessed to have people in our lives that love us and believe in us. We only want Jesus and what He has planned for us. May Jesus fill your lives with joy and cover you in His amazing grace.

"...Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10

Over the years, the spirit of religion has tried to destroy the gifts of the spirit as mentioned in 1^st Corinthians 12-14. Religion has stated the true cannon of scripture has come, the gifts that were seen in the old testament and the times when Jesus walked the earth are gone.

Religion grieves my spirit; it puts rules and regulations around everything and leads to death. I believe it is time for a generation to believe that we are the body of Christ and everything that He did on earth is being done through us today through His strength.

I believe that there is a prophetic generation being raised right now. I believe that more than ever in history the demonic is trying to destroy the prophet in the church because of where the Lord wants to release her.

The scripture above says that the testimony, which means the record, report, witness of Jesus Christ IS the spirit of prophecy. The word prophecy in the Greek means prediction. If this is stated in the last book of the Bible, is it true or is God a liar?

I believe religion wants us to believe that the gift of prophesy is done away with. I rebuke that statement. The Word of God says, "Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy" 1^st Corinthians 14:1. Prophesy in this context means, to foretell events, divine, speak under inspiration, and exercise the prophetic. 

Religion has told us that this is done away with. Scripture tells us otherwise. The church cannot fathom certain gifts, including the gift of the prophetic. I believe the cornerstone of the church at this moment of time is the prophetic. It is time for the prophets to rise up and to listen to what the spirit of the Lord is saying. 

It is time for a prophetic generation to believe that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. It is time for the church to submit to the Living God and cry out for the gifts of the Spirit.

"Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee."  James 4:7

Who are we fighting in this life?  The bible says that we do not fight against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers of darkness.  Many can't even fathom the thought of a spiritual world.  If I can't see it than it isn't real some would say. I disagree.

I believe we are fighting three things; the flesh, the world and the devil.  We are all fallen beings with eternal spirits. The question is where is your spirit going, heaven or hell?  Satan (Lucifer) has the same eternal spirit yet he chose to allow pride to rule him and was forever condemned to hell.

I believe the same is true for all humanity without Jesus. Pride consumes us, we must show the world that we are successful; we must live up to the standards that the media or what the world says.  When you become a Christian, does life immediately become easy? I would say that if you are following Jesus and his purposes, your life will get much harder.

Why would I say such things; because I am sick of tickling the ears of man?  The truth of the matter is God and the devil have one thing in common; they both want us dead.  Have you ever heard that from a pulpit?

I am sorry for the in your face preaching right now but it is on my heart so I am running with it.  I admit that this life is hard, so hard in our own strength.  There are parts of me that I can't stand, parts of me that are just down right evil.  I know that it isn't me.

When we become born again, we actually die to ourselves.  Our body and soul (mind will and emotions) are still in place but our spirit becomes one with Christ's and it is His eternal purpose to cleanse us and make us holy.  We immediately become spiritual babes.  We are dependent, we need the Word, we need mentors, brothers, sisters, community, and worship.  We NEED so much because we are growing. 

We continually are challenged and brought through circumstances in life to prove and see who we really are. This really is just a dressing room for eternity. God so badly wants our old self dead and on the cross that he is willing to pursue us over and over. We fail, we run, we curse, we do it wrong, yet he still is there to pick us up and advance us.

Why? Why would He do that? I don't know the answer, yet I feel His love. His word says that He created us in His image. Why would he do that if he didn't love us?

Today I face the flesh and the pains of the heart that I can't do anything without God. The devil so badly wants us to keep lying to ourselves and say that we can do it on our own strength.  I thought I was doing it on His strength. He so badly doesn't want us to admit our fears, our insecurities, our pains, our hurts, our evil thoughts.  Let me just say that God wants it all.  He wants everything that hurts, that scares, that haunts that exalts itself above Him. 















 

Today I expose my heart and say that in Chad I am weak but in Jesus I am strong.  I am slowly getting it, Lord open up heaven so that we can understand your mysteries.  May we all be filled with humility?

Did you know that the United States is in over $10,500,000,000,000 in debt and counting (yes that is TRILLION)?  We are continually adding over $500,000,000,000 Billion each year. Do we get this?

I want to leave all parties out of this equation.  I don't want this to turn into a; this president did this, and this president did that no matter republican, democrat or libertarian.  The fact is; we are in a huge heap of trouble right now. Do we understand that countries actually own a percentage of the USA because of our debt?

What Americans don't get is the significance that debt impedes on the borrower.  I want to focus on a mortgage for a second because people have no clue the spiritual significance of this debt.  After WWII FDR created a five year mortgage for the average person since businesses were the only ones that could afford this type of product. When creating the word, FDR wanted people to understand what they were getting themselves into. "Mort" = death "Gage" = pledge. The actual word mortgage means pledge of death. Did you know that amortization means a longer pledge of death? 

This gets under my skin because our society has deemed a mortgage good debt these days. Oh I can get tax benefits on this. Oh really, do you really want to pay a $1.00 to get a $0.30 cent benefit? Not to smart is it. Oh and right next to the interest write off on your taxes is charitable gifts, receiving the same exact write off as interest on your home.  That should get you thinking! 

We have been lied to and formed to believe that if we can afford the payment then we can afford the product. That is not true. Did you know that the American dream was to own your own home? Did you know that it has switched to owning a mortgage or pledge of death? Did you know that right now 99 year loans are being issued in Japan where the babies and children are tied to their parent's generational debt?

I get fired up on this topic because I see a generation that is being put in chains. The scripture above says that the borrower is slave to the lender.  The lender earns interest off the loans that they write, which means that when you have a loan you actually work for that company.  Get it, they have authority over you and you can't be who you really are unless you are out of that bondage.

I know there are dreams in the hearts of this generation to change our economy and to change nations. I honestly believe that if this generation cannot get out of the chains of debt, we will not be able to hear the call from God on our lives.  Even if we hear the call, if we are locked into debt we are slave to the lender.  We can't just pick up and move because the bills are due next month.

Einstein said, "Insanity means doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result." He also said, "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking when we created them."

"Let every soul be subject to the govering authorities.  For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God." Romans 13:1

Today we as the American public are called to pray for the leader of our great Nation.  His name is Barack Obama.

Today, no matter whom you voted for or how you feel – we bless our leaders; God raises leaders up and He brings them down; or the bible would be a lie...

Pray for our new president today – bless him; ask the Lord to come on his mind for wisdom, strength and that he would walk in the fear of the Lord. That as president Obama "plans his course, God would direct his steps".

Proverbs 19:21 "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails"!

Your responsibility today is to bless and not curse.

 

While being here I have acquired my hunter safety and have acquired a hunter's mentality. Now I know that I am probably going to offend some people in this Blog but hey I am not your normal silent Joe. Right now Colorado is infested with elk and antelope, there is more than a three to one ratio and the habitat is being destroyed because of the population. 

My question is this? Why are most people that are offended by hunters; pro-choice? I know that some that are reading this are not, so please bear with me. I just don't get it. Most that are tilted towards the left want animals to be treated as humans. Why is this?

Colorado is trying to pass a law that will state the meaning of "person" is at conception (Amendment 48).  This will protect the child at fertilization and this child will have the same benefits as a child that is three years old.  

Another thing that really gets me is most people lean on the case that they support abortion because they focus on rape.  They say if someone is raped, are you telling me that they have to have that baby?  First of all, less than 1% of all abortions are due to rape so that case is ridiculous.  Let's kill 99% because of 1%. There are 1.2 million abortions each year in America.  

Some will say that it is not anyone else's choice except the individual woman's. Well I highly disagree because I believe that birth is a miracle only performed by a Higher Creator, God.  So if God is in charge, well then I will salute to Him and believe that He created every man, woman and child in His image.

I have to say that this is one topic that I cannot turn my back on.  No matter what the candidate believes, if they believe in abortion, I honestly believe they can't be a Christian.  That statement is going to get me a lot of heat but biblically, I can't see how you can defend it or try to deny it. God created the earth for life to inhabit it. Life is life and God will have his judgment for the over 50 million babies that were aborted. Remember God forgives any and all sin, no matter how ugly it may have been.    

I pray that America will value human life as God intended it to be. There are thousands of families that would be glad to take your child if you don't feel you can keep it.  May we all come back to the foundations that this great nation was founded on.
